A file transfer protocol defines how a file is transferred from system to system. In order to use a protocol, you must create a protocol configuration record. This tells the BBS engine how to start the code that implements a transfer protocol.
The BBS engine includes several built-in protocols. Default configurations are provided by the BBS installer (you can delete or change the default configurations).
