The BBS and all supporting libraries with the Microsoft .NET 2.0 framework. The .NET runtime library is likely to be installed on your computer ; if not you can download it from Microsoft/Windows Update.
You must have a Telnet client in order to connect to the software. Two clients are bundled with Windows XP: a command-line Telnet program (TELNET.EXE) and the classic HyperTerminal. You may need to run the Add/Remove Programs applet if you cannot find these programs on your computer. Otherwise many high-quality clients can be downloaded from the web.
